  • 1 cup chopped fruit Fruits like strawberries, peaches, or bananas work well.
  • 1 package angel food cake Prepared angel food cake, cut into cubes.
  • 1/2 cup sugar Alternative sweeteners can be used.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, combine whipped cream, cottage cheese, chopped fruit, sugar, and vanilla extract.
  2. Gently fold the mixture until ingredients are well combined.
  3. Cut the angel food cake into cubes and layer half in a large trifle dish or bowl.
  4. Spoon half of the creamy fruit mixture over the cake cubes.
  5. Repeat the layers with the remaining cake and creamy mixture.
  6. Chill for at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes

Serve in a beautiful glass dish to showcase layers. Pair with fresh mint or nuts for garnish. Store leftovers in the fridge for 3-4 days.
