Ingredients
  

For the Teriyaki Sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
For the Chicken
  • 1 pound chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions for garnish
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, mix honey, apple cider vinegar, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil to create the teriyaki sauce.
Cooking
  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add the chicken pieces. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. Cook the chicken until it’s browned and cooked through.
  3. Pour the teriyaki sauce over the chicken and toss to coat evenly.
  4. Let it simmer for a few minutes until the sauce thickens.
Serving
  1. Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.

Notes

This dish can be paired with cauliflower rice for added crunch or steamed broccoli for color. Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days or frozen for 2-3 months.
