Ingredients
  

Brownie Base
  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp baking powder
Cream Cheese Swirl
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix almond flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and a pinch of salt until well combined.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together eggs, maple syrup, and vanilla extract until smooth. Incorporate this into the dry mix.
  4. In a separate bowl, beat softened cream cheese with powdered sugar until creamy and lush.
Assembly
  1. Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared pan; dollop the cream cheese mix on top.
  2. Cover with the remaining brownie batter.
  3. Gently swirl with a knife to create the marbled patterns.
Baking
  1. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean yet moist.

Notes

Store the brownies in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week or freeze for longer storage. Reheat in the microwave for 10-15 seconds.
