Ingredients
  

Wet Ingredients
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Dry Ingredients
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
Chocolate Chips
  • 1 cup chocolate chips Use semi-sweet or your favorite type.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix melted butter and sugar until smooth.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture until just combined.
  6. Fold in chocolate chips.
Baking
  1. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a lined baking sheet.
  2. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are set.
  3. Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. For prolonged storage, freeze them for up to three months and reheat before serving.
