Ingredients
  

For the marinade
  • 2 tbsp gochujang
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Toast for additional flavor if desired.
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • Salt and pepper to taste
For the chicken
  • 1 lb chicken pieces
For garnish
  • Green onions Optional, for garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, mix together gochujang, garlic, sesame oil, soy sauce, sugar, salt, and pepper.
  2. Add the chicken pieces to the marinade and coat well. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
Cooking
  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add the marinated chicken.
  2. Cook the chicken until it is fully cooked through and has a nice glaze, about 6-8 minutes.
  3. Serve hot, garnished with green onions if desired.

Notes

Marinate longer for more intense flavor. Adjust heat level by adding more gochujang or red pepper flakes. This recipe can be made vegan by substituting chicken with tofu or tempeh. Excellent for meal prep and storage.
