Preparation
- In a bowl, combine gochujang, soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, garlic, sesame oil, and a sprinkle of salt and pepper. This will be your marinade.
- Add the chicken to the marinade and ensure it’s well coated. The longer it marinates (30 minutes to overnight), the better!
Cooking
- Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
- Cook the marinated chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until it’s fully cooked and has a nice char.
- Remove from heat, let it rest for a few minutes, then slice it up.
Serving
- Serve it over rice with your choice of colorful vegetables.
Notes
For a twist, use tofu or tempeh instead of chicken for a vegan dish. Also, chopped nuts or seeds can be added for extra crunch. Gochujang can be adjusted according to your spice preference.
