Preparation
- Make the pizza dough according to the recipe instructions.
- Place the dough in a sealed container or bowl in a warm, draft-free location to rise for 1 to 2 hours or until risen.
- Pop the risen dough into the fridge for about 30 minutes until firmer.
- Optionally, set it to rise in the refrigerator for about 12 hours or up to 5 days.
Cooking
- Preheat your oven to 400°F, placing a pizza stone on the bottom rack.
- Roll the dough into an oval shape, about 12 inches x 15 inches.
- Mix minced garlic and kosher salt with melted butter to form a paste.
- Brush the garlic butter mixture all over the dough.
- Sprinkle on the grated Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese, followed by the mozzarella.
- Transfer the dough to the hot pizza stone and bake for about 10 minutes until golden.
- Let it set, slice into sticks, and enjoy!
Notes
Store leftovers in the fridge for about 3-4 days in an airtight container. You can also freeze them for up to a month. Reheat in the oven or toaster for the best results. Serve with marinara sauce or ranch dip.
