Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients
  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup coconut sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp espresso powder Enhances the chocolate flavor.
Wet Ingredients
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup melted coconut oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chunks

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8x8 inch baking dish.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, cocoa powder, coconut sugar, and salt.
  3. Add in melted coconut oil, eggs, vanilla extract, and espresso powder. Mix until well combined.
  4. Fold in the dark chocolate chunks.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
Baking
  1. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out mostly clean.
  2. Let cool before cutting into squares.

Notes

Serve warm with vanilla ice cream and fresh berries. For variations, add nuts, peppermint extract, or swirl in peanut butter for added flavor.
