Ingredients

For the wings
  • 2 lbs chicken wings
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • to taste fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, toss the chicken wings with salt, pepper, and paprika until well-coated.
  3. Arrange the wings in a single layer on the baking sheet.
Cooking
  1. Bake for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until crispy and golden brown.
  2. While the wings are baking, melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
  3. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
Finishing
  1. Once the wings are cooked, toss them in the garlic butter sauce until well coated.
  2. Transfer the wings to a serving platter, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, and garnish with chopped parsley.
  3. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

Marinate your chicken wings for a couple of hours for an extra flavor kick. Swap the butter for olive oil for a lighter twist. For a spicy kick, add a few dashes of hot sauce to the garlic butter.
