Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 lb steak (sirloin, ribeye, or New York strip), cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 medium zucchini, cut into half-moons
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • to taste Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish Optional

Method

Preparation
  1. Pat the steak bites dry with paper towels. Season generously with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Cooking
  1. Add the steak bites to the hot skillet in a single layer. Sear for 1-2 minutes per side until browned. Remove and set aside.
  2. Add butter to the same skillet. Once melted, toss in the minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Add the zucchini to the skillet. Cook for 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until tender-crisp.
  4. Return the steak bites to the skillet. Toss everything together to coat in the garlic butter.
  5. Cook for another 1-2 minutes until the steak is heated through.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired. Serve immediately.

Notes

For best results, cut the steak into even, bite-sized pieces. Experiment with spices for different flavor profiles.
