  • 4 pieces Pork chops Bone-in for extra juiciness recommended.
  • 4 tablespoons Butter Use unsalted for better control over seasoning.
  • 4 cloves Garlic Minced.
  • 1 teaspoon Salt Adjust to taste.
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper Adjust to taste.
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil For searing.
  • to taste Fresh herbs Thyme or parsley recommended.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Season the pork chops with salt and pepper.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
Cooking
  1. Add the pork chops to the skillet and sear for 3-4 minutes on each side until they’re golden brown and cooked through.
  2. During the last minute of cooking, add butter and minced garlic to the pan.
  3. Spoon the melted garlic butter over the pork chops while they finish cooking.
  4. Remove from heat and let rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Serve with sautéed veggies or a salad. Can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days. Reheat gently in the microwave or skillet.
