Ingredients

Main ingredients
  • 4 pieces boneless skinless chicken breasts (about 6 to 8 ounces each)
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter (melted)
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley (or 1 tablespoon fresh chopped parsley)
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 0.5 teaspoon paprika
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black pepper
  • Lemon wedges (optional for serving)

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and allow it to fully heat.
  2. Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels. If needed, gently pound to even thickness. Season both sides with salt, black pepper, paprika, and dried thyme.
  3. In a small mixing bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, and parsley. Stir well until fragrant.
Cooking
  1. Place the seasoned chicken breasts into a baking dish. Pour the garlic butter mixture evenly over each piece, ensuring the tops are fully coated.
  2. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, depending on thickness, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). The edges should be lightly golden and the butter bubbling.
  3. For additional browning, broil for 2 to 3 minutes while watching carefully.
  4. Remove from the oven and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing to retain juices.

Notes

Serve over a bed of rice or alongside roasted veggies with a drizzle of garlic butter sauce and a squeeze of lemon for added flavor. Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 4 days or frozen for up to 3 months.
