Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and allow it to fully heat.
- Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels. If needed, gently pound to even thickness. Season both sides with salt, black pepper, paprika, and dried thyme.
- In a small mixing bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, and parsley. Stir well until fragrant.
Cooking
- Place the seasoned chicken breasts into a baking dish. Pour the garlic butter mixture evenly over each piece, ensuring the tops are fully coated.
- Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, depending on thickness, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). The edges should be lightly golden and the butter bubbling.
- For additional browning, broil for 2 to 3 minutes while watching carefully.
- Remove from the oven and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing to retain juices.
Notes
Serve over a bed of rice or alongside roasted veggies with a drizzle of garlic butter sauce and a squeeze of lemon for added flavor. Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 4 days or frozen for up to 3 months.
