Ingredients
  

Noodles and Sauces
  • 2 servings chow mein noodles Cook according to package instructions.
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil For frying in the skillet.
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce Adjust to taste.
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce Optional for added flavor.
  • to taste salt and pepper For seasoning.
Vegetables
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables Includes carrots, bell peppers, and snow peas.
  • 2 cloves garlic Minced for flavor.
  • 2 green onions Sliced for garnish.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Cook the chow mein noodles according to package instructions and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the minced garlic and stir-fry for about 30 seconds.
  4. Toss in the mixed vegetables and stir-fry until tender but still crisp, about 3-4 minutes.
  5. Add the cooked noodles to the skillet.
  6. Pour the soy sauce and optional oyster sauce over the noodles and toss to combine.
  7. Stir in the sliced green onions and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

These fried noodles can be stored in the fridge for about 3-4 days or frozen for 2-3 months. Reheat in a pan over medium heat.
