Preparation
- Butter a 9" x 13" casserole dish.
- In a large pot over low-medium heat, melt the butter.
- Add the marshmallows and stir until you have a smooth, gooey mixture.
- Pour in the Rice Krispie cereal and mix until each piece is completely coated.
- Spoon the mixture into the prepared dish and press down to flatten the top.
- Let it set for 30 minutes.
- Cut the cooled treats into funky rectangles.
Decoration
- Melt the green candy melts.
- Dip the top of each treat into the green melts and then into black jimmies sprinkles.
- Stick on two royal icing eyes.
- Melt the black candy melts and use a piping bag to create fun stitch designs.
- Let everything set completely before packaging or serving!
Notes
Use fresh marshmallows for the fluffiest texture. Melt candy melts in short increments to avoid burning. These can easily be made gluten-free by using gluten-free Rice Krispies.
