Ingredients
  

For the Falafel Bites
  • 1 can (15 oz) chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp coriander
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper or more if you like it spicy!
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Oil, for frying
For the Tahini Pipettes
  • Tahini, for pipettes
  • Lemon juice, to drizzle
  • Optional: Your favorite dipping sauce

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Blend the chickpeas, onion, garlic, parsley, spices, baking soda, and seasoning in a food processor until combined but still a bit chunky.
  2. Form small balls or patties using your hands or a scoop.
Cooking
  1. Heat oil in a frying pan until sizzling hot.
  2. Fry the bites until they turn golden brown, then drain on paper towels.
Prepare Tahini Pipettes
  1. Thin out tahini with lemon juice and a drop of water, fill your pipettes or mini squeeze bottles.

Notes

These bites can be refrigerated for up to 3 days. They can also be frozen before frying; fry them straight from the freezer for crispiness.
