Preparation
- Toast the everything bagel until it’s golden brown.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a little butter or oil.
- Crack the egg into the pan and cook it to your liking, seasoning with a pinch of salt and pepper.
- Add the slice of cheese on top of the egg in the skillet to melt.
- Assemble the sandwich by placing the egg and melted cheese on the bottom half of the bagel.
- If using, add your bacon or sausage, then pile on any fresh veggies.
- Top off with the other half of the bagel and serve immediately.
Notes
You can store leftovers in the fridge for 2-3 days. Reheat the egg and bagel in the skillet or microwave.
