  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken stock Use warm stock for better sauce consistency
  • 4 tablespoons butter, divided
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Caramelized onions (for garnish, if desired)
  • Shredded Monterey Jack or cheddar cheese (optional topping)

Preparation
  1. Start by seasoning the chicken with salt, pepper, and paprika. Set aside.
Making the Sauce
  1. In a pan, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat, then add minced garlic. Don’t skip toasting the garlic — it makes all the difference!
  2. Pour in the warmed chicken stock and mix in honey and dried parsley.
Coating the Chicken
  1. Add the seasoned chicken to the pan, coating each piece with that luscious sauce.
  2. Let it simmer for about 10-15 minutes until chicken is cooked through.

Notes
