Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, and baking soda.
- In another bowl, cream the softened butter, light brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the creamed mixture, mixing until well combined.
- Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Baking
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
For thicker cookies, chill the dough for 30 minutes before baking. Use parchment paper to prevent sticking.
