Ingredients
  

For the crust
  • 1.5 cups 1 ½ cups Oreo crumbs (about 24 cookies) Crushed Oreo cookies
  • 6 tablespoons 6 Tablespoons butter (melted) Melted butter to bind the crust
For the filling
  • 1.25 cups 1 ¼ cups (300 ml) heavy cream Used for creating the chocolate ganache
  • 2 cups 2 cups (12 oz) good-quality bittersweet chocolate (chopped into similar size pieces) Opt for good quality for best flavor
  • 1 teaspoon 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract Enhances flavor of the chocolate filling
For topping
  • 2 pints 2 pints (about 4 cups) fresh raspberries Freshly washed for garnish
  • Confectioners’ sugar for dusting For decorative finish

Method
 

Preparing the crust
  1. In a bowl, combine Oreo crumbs and melted butter. Mix until well-coated.
  2. Press the cookie mixture into a tart pan, ensuring the bottom and sides are even.
  3. Chill the crust in the fridge while you make the filling.
Making the filling
  1. In a saucepan over medium heat, bring heavy cream just to a simmer.
  2. Remove from heat and add chocolate and vanilla extract, stirring until smooth.
  3. Pour the chocolate mixture into the chilled crust and refrigerate until set, about 2 hours.
Serving the tart
  1. Top with fresh raspberries and dust with confectioners’ sugar before serving.

Notes

Serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream for an extra touch. Ensure to chill properly for best results.
