Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream softened butter with granulated and brown sugars until light and fluffy.
- Beat in eggs one at a time, and add vanilla extract until well combined.
- Gradually mix in the dry ingredients until just combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips.
Baking
- Drop tablespoon-sized dough balls onto lined baking sheets.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden.
Notes
Chill the dough for at least 30 minutes for thicker cookies. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for about 5 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
