Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced (optional) Can enhance flavor but optional.
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
For Serving
  • Cooked rice or noodles For serving.
  • Chopped green onions and sesame seeds For garnish (optional).

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Place the chicken breasts in the crockpot.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the teriyaki sauce, minced garlic, ginger, sesame oil, salt, and pepper.
  3. Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken in the crockpot.
Cooking
  1. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
  2. Once cooked, shred the chicken with two forks.
Serving
  1. Serve over cooked rice or noodles, and garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds if desired.

Notes

Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3-4 days or freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat in microwave or stove. For added flavor, consider toasting garlic if pan-fried.
