Ingredients
  

For the Cookie Dough
  • 70 g Brown Sugar
  • 70 g Sugar
  • 115 g Butter (melted)
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 220 g Plain Flour
  • 1 tbsp Cornflour
  • ½ tsp Baking Soda
  • ½ tsp Baking Powder
  • ½ tsp Salt
For the Frosting
  • 90 g Butter (softened)
  • 90 g Cream Cheese
  • 250 g Icing Sugar

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F).
  2. In a bowl, mix brown sugar, sugar, and melted butter until combined.
  3. Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing well.
  4. Gradually stir in the plain flour, cornflour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt until it’s a smooth dough.
  5. Scoop out dollops of dough onto a baking tray.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges are golden.
Frosting
  1. While cooling, whip up the cream cheese frosting by mixing softened butter and cream cheese, then adding icing sugar until fluffy.
  2. Frost your cooled cookies and enjoy!

Notes

Let the cookies cool completely before frosting to prevent melting. Store cookies in an airtight container in the fridge for 5-7 days, or freeze for longer storage.
