Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F).
- In a bowl, mix brown sugar, sugar, and melted butter until combined.
- Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing well.
- Gradually stir in the plain flour, cornflour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt until it’s a smooth dough.
- Scoop out dollops of dough onto a baking tray.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges are golden.
Frosting
- While cooling, whip up the cream cheese frosting by mixing softened butter and cream cheese, then adding icing sugar until fluffy.
- Frost your cooled cookies and enjoy!
Notes
Let the cookies cool completely before frosting to prevent melting. Store cookies in an airtight container in the fridge for 5-7 days, or freeze for longer storage.
