Preparation
- Place the chicken breasts in the crockpot.
- In a bowl, mix together the teriyaki sauce, garlic, ginger, honey, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken.
- If using, add the broccoli florets on top of the chicken.
Cooking
- Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
- Once cooked, shred the chicken in the sauce before serving.
Serving
- Serve over cooked rice or noodles.
Notes
This dish can also be made vegan by swapping chicken with tofu or jackfruit. For added flavor, consider adding a splash of sriracha or green onions.
