  • 1 can (10 oz) diced tomatoes with green chilies
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend) Can substitute with pepper jack cheese for extra kick.
  • 1 cup cream cheese Add extra for creamier texture.
  • 1-2 jalapeƱos, diced Adjust according to spice preference.
For Serving
  • Tortilla chips or veggies For dipping.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef or sausage until browned. Drain excess fat.
  2. In the crockpot, combine the cooked meat, diced tomatoes, cream cheese, jalapeƱos, and shredded cheese. Stir well to combine.
Cooking
  1. Cook on low for 2-3 hours, stirring occasionally until cheese is melted and dip is hot and bubbly.
Serving
  1. Serve warm with tortilla chips or veggies.

Notes

Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3-4 days in an airtight container. Can be reheated on the stove over low heat. For a unique twist, consider adding a splash of beer or smoked paprika.
