  • 2 pounds beef stew meat
  • 1.5 pounds baby Yukon gold potatoes Can substitute with red or sweet potatoes
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons seasoned salt
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, chopped
  • 5 tablespoons butter, cut into pads

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Place the beef stew meat on one side of the crockpot and the baby potatoes on the other side.
  2. Sprinkle the onion powder, garlic powder, and seasoned salt evenly over both sides.
  3. Gently toss the beef to coat evenly in the seasonings, but keep it separate from the potatoes.
  4. Add the chopped garlic on top of the meat and potatoes.
  5. Place the butter pads over the entire dish.
Cooking
  1. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours.
  2. Spoon the garlic butter sauce from the bottom over the beef and potatoes when done.
  3. Serve hot and enjoy your crockpot garlic butter beef bites with potatoes!

Notes

For deeper flavor, sear the meat before adding it to the crockpot. To add a bit of heat, consider adding red pepper flakes. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3-4 days in the fridge or frozen for up to 3 months.
