Preparation
- Place the chicken breasts in the crockpot.
- In a bowl, mix together the heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the creamy mixture over the chicken.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 4-6 hours or until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
- Once done, shred the chicken with a fork and stir it into the sauce.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
Notes
For extra creaminess, add a tablespoon of cornstarch mixed with water. This recipe can also be made lighter by substituting heavy cream with half-and-half. Don't skip toasting the garlic for better flavor!
