  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced Consider toasting for enhanced flavor
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • as needed Fresh parsley for garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Place the chicken breasts in the crockpot.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Pour the creamy mixture over the chicken.
  4. Cover and cook on LOW for 4-6 hours or until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
  5. Once done, shred the chicken with a fork and stir it into the sauce.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

For extra creaminess, add a tablespoon of cornstarch mixed with water. This recipe can also be made lighter by substituting heavy cream with half-and-half. Don't skip toasting the garlic for better flavor!
