Ingredients

  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 packet Italian salad dressing mix
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 8 oz angel hair pasta
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • Parmesan cheese (optional for serving)
  • Fresh parsley (optional for garnish)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the cream of chicken soup, Italian dressing mix, and chicken broth. Pour over the chicken.
Cooking
  1. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours until the chicken is tender.
  2. About 20 minutes before serving, cook the angel hair pasta according to package instructions.
  3. Once cooked, drain the pasta and serve the chicken and sauce over the pasta.
  4. Garnish with Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3-4 days or freeze for up to 2-3 months. Reheat in the microwave or on the stove. Tips: Add crushed red pepper flakes for a kick, fresh herbs like thyme or rosemary for flavor, or cornstarch for a thicker sauce. Variations: Use turkey, tofu, or different soups.
