Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Place chicken breasts between plastic wrap and pound to about 1-inch thickness.
- Season both sides of the chicken with salt and pepper.
- Set up a breading station: one bowl with beaten eggs, another with a mixture of breadcrumbs and Parmesan.
- Dip each chicken piece in egg, then coat with breadcrumb mixture, pressing to adhere.
- Arrange the breaded chicken on a greased baking sheet.
Cooking
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and the inside hits 165°F (75°C).
- For extra crispy goodness, broil chicken for 2-3 minutes, watching closely.
- In a saucepan, melt butter or heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Sauté minced garlic until fragrant and golden, about 1-2 minutes.
- Pour in heavy cream and let it simmer for 5 minutes, stirring continuously.
- Season the garlic sauce with salt, pepper, and optional red pepper flakes.
Notes
Store leftovers in the fridge for about 3-4 days. Reheat in oven with a splash of cream.
