  • 8 oz spaghetti or fettuccine Use your preferred pasta type.
  • 1 cup ripe tomatoes (diced) Fresh tomatoes for best flavor.
  • 1 cup heavy cream For a rich and creamy sauce.
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic (minced) Golden brown garlic adds depth of flavor.
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil For sautéing the garlic.
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil (chopped) Use fresh for best aroma.

Preparation
  1. Boil salted water in a large pot and cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Cooking
  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté minced garlic until golden brown.
  2. Add diced tomatoes, salt, and pepper. Simmer for about 5 minutes.
  3. Lower the heat and stir in heavy cream until well blended.
  4. Toss cooked pasta in the sauce until evenly coated.
Serving
  1. Serve topped with fresh basil and optional grated Parmesan cheese.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. To reheat, add a splash of water or milk to restore creaminess.
