  • 4 large Sweet potatoes Peeled and thinly sliced
  • 4 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 4 tablespoons Butter Melted
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese Grated
  • 1 teaspoon Salt To taste
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper To taste

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Peel and thinly slice the sweet potatoes.
  3. Melt the butter over medium heat in a saucepan, then toss in the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  4. Stir in the heavy cream, salt, and pepper, bringing it to a gentle simmer.
Assembly
  1. Layer half of the sweet potatoes in a baking dish and pour half of the garlic butter sauce over them.
  2. Add the remaining sweet potatoes and pour on the rest of the sauce.
  3. Sprinkle grated parmesan cheese on top.
Baking
  1. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  2. Remove the foil and bake for another 15 minutes, until golden and bubbling.
  3. Let it cool slightly before serving.
