  • 1 cup cream
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 piece onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup uncooked rice

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then add them to the skillet.
  3. Cook until golden brown on both sides (about 5-7 minutes per side), then remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add the chopped onion and garlic; sauté until fragrant.
  5. Stir in the rice and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  6. Add the chicken broth and cream, bringing it to a simmer.
  7. Return the chicken to the skillet, cover, and reduce heat to low.
  8. Cook until the rice is tender and has absorbed most of the liquid (about 20-25 minutes).
  9. Garnish with parsley before serving.

Notes

For variations, mix up the rice with brown rice or quinoa for a healthier option. Add veggies such as spinach or peas for added nutrition and color. Leftovers can be transformed into a creamy soup by adding more broth when reheating.
