Ingredients
  

Pasta and Broccoli
  • 8 ounces pasta (your choice)
  • 2 cups fresh broccoli florets
Creamy Sauce
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (like cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 1 cup heavy cream or milk
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Grated Parmesan cheese (optional, for serving)

Method
 

Cooking the Pasta
  1. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Making the Sauce
  1. In a large pan, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant.
  2. Add the broccoli florets and sauté for about 3-4 minutes until they are bright green and tender.
  3. Pour in the heavy cream (or milk), then add the shredded cheese, stirring until melted and combined.
Combining
  1. Add the cooked pasta to the cheese sauce, mixing well to coat. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  2. Serve hot, topped with additional grated Parmesan cheese if desired.

Notes

For a twist, you can switch up the cheese, use frozen broccoli, or add grilled chicken or shrimp.
