Method
Cooking the Pasta
- Cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Making the Sauce
- In a large pan, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant.
- Add the broccoli florets and sauté for about 3-4 minutes until they are bright green and tender.
- Pour in the heavy cream (or milk), then add the shredded cheese, stirring until melted and combined.
Combining
- Add the cooked pasta to the cheese sauce, mixing well to coat. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot, topped with additional grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
Notes
For a twist, you can switch up the cheese, use frozen broccoli, or add grilled chicken or shrimp.
