Preparation
- Season the chicken breasts with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet and sear the chicken until cooked through. Remove and slice.
Cooking
- In the same skillet, boil your pasta in salted water until al dente. Reserve some pasta water, then drain.
- In the skillet, add butter and minced garlic; sauté until fragrant.
- Stir in Cajun seasoning and smoked paprika, then pour in heavy cream and chicken broth. Let it simmer until slightly thickened.
Combining
- Toss the cooked pasta and sliced chicken into the creamy sauce. Add cheese, and mix well until everyone’s coated.
Notes
Garnish with parsley and parmesan. Pairs well with garlic bread and a side salad. Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for about 3 days.
