  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded You can use rotisserie chicken for convenience.
  • 2 cups broccoli florets, steamed Frozen broccoli can be used as well.
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella) Use your favorite cheese.
  • 1 cup heavy cream Milk can be used for a lighter option.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • to taste salt and pepper Don’t skip the seasoning!
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional) Add for extra flavor.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, steamed broccoli, heavy cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Mix in half of the shredded cheese.
  4. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish.
  5. Top with the remaining shredded cheese and Parmesan cheese, if using.
Cooking
  1. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  2. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

This casserole keeps well in the fridge for 3-4 days and can be frozen for up to 3 months. Reheat in the microwave or oven.
