Preparation

- In another bowl, cream the softened butter with granulated and brown sugars until fluffy.

- Gradually mix the dry ingredients into your wet mixture until just combined.
- Prepare the filling by combining the brown sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl.
Baking
- Spread half of the dough on parchment paper or a floured surface. Sprinkle with the cinnamon filling and roll it up tightly.
- Slice into rounds and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until they are golden brown.
Notes
For an extra flair, drizzle a light cream cheese frosting on top or serve them alongside a warm cup of coffee or tea. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for about 5 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
