Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to the creamed mixture, mixing well.
- Fold in the chocolate chips and chopped strawberries gently.
Baking
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto greased baking sheets.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden.
- Let cool for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks.
- Optionally, drizzle with melted chocolate and sprinkle with sprinkles.
Notes
Chill your dough for about 30 minutes if you want your cookies thicker and less spread-out. They can last about 3 to 5 days at room temperature in an airtight container or can be frozen for up to three months.
