Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and cornstarch. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, cream together the brown sugar, granulated sugar, and butter until it’s light and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then add the vanilla extract, mixing for about 3-4 minutes.
Baking
- Gently fold in the chocolate chips.
- Drop spoonfuls of cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each cookie.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes or until the edges are golden.
Notes
Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. You can freeze them for up to three months. For best results, chill the dough for at least 30 minutes before baking.
