Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 ½ teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1 pinch salt
Wet Ingredients
  • 3/4 cup dark brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 cold eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, slightly softened
Chocolate Chips
  • 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and cornstarch. Set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together the brown sugar, granulated sugar, and butter until it’s light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then add the vanilla extract, mixing for about 3-4 minutes.
Baking
  1. Gently fold in the chocolate chips.
  2. Drop spoonfuls of cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each cookie.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes or until the edges are golden.

Notes

Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. You can freeze them for up to three months. For best results, chill the dough for at least 30 minutes before baking.
