Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients
  • 1.5 cups All Purpose Flour
  • 0.5 tsp Baking Soda
  • 0.25 tsp Sea Salt
Wet Ingredients
  • 0.5 cups Unsalted Butter (room temperature)
  • 0.5 cups Packed Brown Sugar
  • 0.5 cups Sugar
  • 1 large Egg (room temperature)
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
Chocolate Chips
  • 1.5 cups Unsweetened Chocolate Chips Use extra for a richer chocolate flavor.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. In an electric mixer, beat the butter, sugar, and brown sugar together until fluffy, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Reduce the speed of the mixer and mix in the egg and vanilla until well combined.
  4. Sift the flour, baking soda, and salt together in a separate bowl.
  5. Slowly mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips.
Baking
  1. Drop oversized tablespoon dough balls onto a non-stick baking sheet.
  2. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes.
  3. Let them cool on the pan for 20 minutes before removing.

Notes

Let the cookies continue to cook on the pan after pulling them out of the oven for a perfect gooey center.
