  • 4 pieces chicken breasts
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 packet ranch dressing mix
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste pepper
  • 1 cup favorite vegetables (optional) like carrots or bell peppers

Preparation
  1. Place the chicken breasts in the crockpot.
  2. In a bowl, mix the chicken broth, cream of chicken soup, and ranch dressing mix. Pour this over the chicken.
  3. If you want to add vegetables, place them on top of the chicken mixture.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Cooking
  1. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
  2. Shred the chicken in the crockpot using two forks, mixing it well with the sauce before serving.

Notes

For added flavor, marinate the chicken for a few hours before cooking. Use a meat thermometer to check that the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F. For a thicker sauce, remove the lid during the last 30 minutes of cooking to let it reduce.
