Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour and baking soda; set aside.
- In a large bowl, cream softened butter with brown sugar and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time along with the vanilla extract, mixing well after each addition.
- Gradually combine the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just blended.
- Gently fold in the chocolate chips.
Baking
- Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto prepared baking sheets, spacing them apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges are lightly golden; let cool on wire racks before serving.

Cookies can be stored in the fridge for up to a week or frozen for three months. Let them cool completely before storing.
