Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix together ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, egg, garlic, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Form the mixture into meatballs and place them on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until cooked through.
Assembly
- In a saucepan, heat the marinara sauce over medium heat.
- Once the meatballs are done baking, add them to the marinara sauce.
- Cut the hoagie rolls and place them on a baking sheet.
- Fill each roll with meatballs and sauce, then top with mozzarella cheese.
- Bake for another 5-10 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Serve hot.
Notes
For extra moistness, consider adding a splash of olive oil to the meat mixture. To serve, pair with potato chips or a fresh green salad.
