  • 1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can refried beans
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 tablespoon chopped green onions (optional) For garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the black beans, refried beans, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, salsa, garlic powder, and cumin. Mix until well combined.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and spread it evenly.
Baking
  1. Bake for 20-25 minutes until the dip is hot and bubbly.
  2. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with green onions if desired.
  3. Serve warm with tortilla chips.

Notes

Store leftovers in the fridge for 3-5 days in an airtight container or freeze for up to three months. Reheat in the oven until hot and bubbly.
