Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch springform pan.
- Prepare the brownie mix according to package instructions, adding 2 tablespoons of water. Pour into the prepared pan and bake for 20-25 minutes or until set. Let it cool.
Mixing Cheesecake Filling
- In a large bowl, beat softened cream cheese until smooth. Add sugar and vanilla, mixing well.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing until just combined. Then mix in sour cream and salt.
Assembly and Baking
- Pour the cheesecake mixture over the cooled brownie layer.
- Drizzle caramel sauce on top of the cheesecake mixture.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes or until the center is set.
- Let it cool at room temperature, then chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours before serving. Optional: Top with chocolate chips before serving.
Notes
Serve chilled with extra caramel drizzled on top and sprinkled chocolate chips for added crunch. Store in the fridge for up to 5 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
