Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
- In a bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Press this mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking dish to form the crust.
- In a large bowl, beat together cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in vanilla extract, then fold in chopped apples, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- Pour the cream cheese mixture over the crust in the baking dish. Drizzle caramel sauce on top.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until the center is set.
- Let it cool, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours before cutting into bars. Serve chilled and enjoy!
Notes
Garnish with a sprinkle of cinnamon or a scoop of vanilla ice cream for an extra treat. Store in the refrigerator for up to five days. For longer storage, freeze individual bars wrapped in plastic wrap.
