Ingredients
  

Crust
  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup sugar
Filling
  • 4 packages (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 large eggs Let them come to room temperature for easier mixing.
  • 2 cups diced apples Use a mix of sweet and tart apples for best flavor.
  • 1 cup caramel sauce For drizzling before serving.
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon Can add nutmeg for an extra flavor boost.

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar to form a crust.
  3. Press the mixture into the bottom of a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
Filling
  1. In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth.
  2. Add sugar and vanilla extract; mix well.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  4. Fold in diced apples and cinnamon.
  5. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the crust.
  6. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until the center is set.
  7. Let cool and then drizzle with caramel sauce before slicing into bars.

Notes

These bars can be stored in the fridge for up to 5 days or frozen for up to 3 months. Thaw overnight in the fridge before serving.
