Preparation
- Blanch the cabbage leaves by boiling in water for about 2 minutes until softened, then remove and pat dry.
- In a bowl, mix together the ground meat, minced garlic, chopped onion, salt, pepper, soy sauce, and sesame oil.
- Take a cabbage leaf, place a spoonful of the meat mixture at the base, and roll it up tightly, tucking in the sides.
- Repeat the process until all the filling is used.
Cooking
- Steam the dumplings for 15-20 minutes until fully cooked.
- Serve with a dipping sauce of your choice and a sprinkle of chopped green onions on top.
Notes
Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for 3-4 days or frozen for up to 3 months. For reheating, steam again or use a microwave.
