  • 4 pieces Flatbread Store-bought or homemade
  • 2 cups Butter chicken Can be homemade or store-bought
  • 1 medium Onion Finely chopped
  • 3 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger Grated
  • 1 cup Tomato sauce
  • 1 cup Coconut milk For creaminess
  • 1 teaspoon Coriander Ground
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin Ground
  • 1 teaspoon Garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 cup Cilantro Chopped for garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Sauté onions, garlic, and ginger in a pan until fragrant.
  2. Add tomato sauce, coconut milk, and spices, and simmer for 15 minutes.
  3. In another pan, warm the flatbreads.
Assembly
  1. Spread the butter chicken mixture onto the flatbreads.
  2. Garnish with cilantro and serve.

Notes

For an extra crunch, toast the flatbreads just before serving. You can also swap out coconut milk with heavy cream for a richer sauce. Mix in vegetables like bell peppers or spinach for added nutrition.
