Ingredients
  

For the Crostini
  • 8 slices 8 slices baguette Sliced baguette to create crostini.
  • 2 tablespoons 2 tablespoons olive oil For brushing the baguette slices.
Toppings
  • 8 ounces 8 ounces burrata cheese Rich and creamy cheese.
  • 4 ounces 4 ounces prosciutto, thinly sliced Savory meat to layer on crostini.
  • 1/4 cup 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves Fresh herbs for garnish.
  • Balsamic glaze, for drizzling To enhance flavor before serving.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Brush both sides of the baguette slices with olive oil.
  3. Arrange the baguette slices on a baking sheet and toast in the oven for about 5-7 minutes, or until lightly golden and crisp.
Assembly
  1. Once cooled slightly, spread a generous amount of burrata cheese on each crostini.
  2. Drape a slice of prosciutto over the burrata.
  3. Garnish with fresh basil leaves.
  4. Drizzle with balsamic glaze just before serving.

Notes

These crostinis can be stored separately in the fridge for up to 2 days. Toast the baguette slices briefly to re-crisp before serving. Try adding fig jam or swapping prosciutto with salami for different flavors.
