  • 2 cups shredded chicken (cooked, rotisserie or homemade) Preferably use rotisserie for convenience.
  • 1/2 cup buffalo sauce Adjust the heat by choosing milder or spicier sauce.
  • 1/2 cup diced celery For a fresh crunch.
  • 1/2 cup diced carrots Adds color and nutrition.
  • 1/4 cup blue cheese Optional for cheese lovers.
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil For cooking the chicken.
  • to taste salt and pepper For seasoning.
  • Chopped green onions For garnish.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the shredded chicken to the skillet. Pour in the buffalo sauce and stir well to coat the chicken evenly.
  3. Let the chicken mixture cook for about 5-7 minutes until everything is heated through.
  4. In a bowl, create a bed of cooked rice at the bottom.
  5. Generously spoon the buffalo chicken mixture on top of the rice.
  6. Garnish your dish with diced celery and carrots for that crunch.
  7. If using, sprinkle your blue cheese over the top.
  8. Add salt and pepper to taste, and finish with a sprinkle of chopped green onions.
  9. Your Buffalo Chicken Bowls are ready to serve warm. Enjoy!
