  • 1 6.5 oz Alouette Cheese with herbs (or any soft cheese spread like Boursin) Choose quality ingredients for the best flavor
  • ½ cup tomatoes, chopped Fresh tomatoes lead to a fresher flavor
  • ¼ cup fresh basil, chopped Use fresh basil for the best taste
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinaigrette glaze or reduction A little drizzle goes a long way
For serving
  • Pita chips, crackers, or thinly sliced baguette These are great for dipping

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Start with a large plate or small platter.
  2. Spread the soft cheese evenly in the center, leaving about a 1/4 inch edge.
  3. Evenly sprinkle the chopped tomatoes over the cheese.
  4. Add the chopped fresh basil on top of the tomatoes.
  5. Drizzle the balsamic glaze artfully over the entire plate.
Serving
  1. Serve with pita chips, crackers, or thin slices of baguette.

Notes

If you have leftovers, store in an airtight container in the fridge for 2-3 days. Refresh with a drizzle of balsamic glaze before serving.
